Bakery assistant — Rappahannock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Rappahannock County, Virginia. The job is at a busy bakery. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills On the job you will handle: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Full-time with occasional weekends.
