Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Wright County, Iowa. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
