Immediate opening: stamping press operator (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Borough of Halton, England. The job is on the press shop floor. On a typical shift you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes We offer £100 per day plus benefits.
