Meat cutter — Crawford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Crawford County, Arkansas. You will work in a supermarket meat department. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
