Now hiring: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Windham County, Vermont. You will work at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Rotating shifts.
