Great opportunity: rigger (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Macon County, Alabama. You will work at a power plant. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Part-time with flexible hours.
