Milling machinist — Sheridan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Sheridan County, North Dakota. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
