The role involves set up and start the machine as per the job card; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
