Wood machinist — Ohio County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wood machinist in Ohio County, West Virginia. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
