Elevator technician — Warren County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Warren County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a residential tower block. You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces You will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
