Rigger wanted in Grant Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Grant Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
