Power float operator — Dane County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Dane County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
