Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre technician in Stevens County, Kansas. The job is at a car service centre. You should have: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly You will jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
