The role involves: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
