We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Kent County, Texas. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day-to-day duties: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots 4+ years on the tools preferred.
