Join our team: we are hiring a security guard in Reading, England. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates • Man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out Requirements: • Alert, disciplined and punctual • Ex-servicemen preferred At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
