Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in City of Staunton, Virginia. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. The role involves read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Full-time with occasional weekends.
