Core maker wanted in Lincoln County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Lincoln County, West Virginia. Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
