We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Owan East, Edo. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₦240,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
