Safety marshal — Piatt County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Piatt County, Illinois. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. The role involves: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
