Maintenance painter • Angus, Scotland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Angus, Scotland. The job is in a factory paint shop. The role involves: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Sand and fill walls before applying primer Requirements: • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Overtime paid at a premium rate.
