You should have: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling On a typical shift you will feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
