You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing Six days a week, one day off.
