Visual inspection operator — Botetourt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Botetourt County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Your main tasks: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items 1+ years on the tools preferred.
