Sheet metal welder — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Franklin County, Nebraska. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
