Argon welder • Zing, Taraba State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Zing, Taraba State. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Rotating shifts.
