Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Dickinson County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Part-time with flexible hours.
