We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Howard County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
