Now hiring: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Bamberg County, South Carolina. The job is at a garment factory. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Part-time with flexible hours. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
