Meat trimmer — Awe

Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Awe, Nasarawa State. The job is in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder 5+ years on the tools preferred.
