Press machine operator — Knox County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Knox County, Texas. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Your main tasks: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes 6+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
