Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Montgomery County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day-to-day duties: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
