The role involves: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish 1+ years on the tools preferred.
