Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Coles County, Illinois. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. On a typical shift you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Six days a week, one day off.
