Cnc setter-operator — Lyon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Lyon County, Kansas. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
