Precision welder wanted in Delaware County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Delaware County, Indiana. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
