Now hiring: rigging foreman (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Dallas County, Alabama. Day to day you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
