GTAW welder — Bexar County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Bexar County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
