Turning centre operator — Bell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Bell County, Kentucky. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Part-time with flexible hours.
