Bar waiter — Gloucestershire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar waiter in Gloucestershire, England. The job is in a coffee shop. The role involves raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; check back during the meal and handle special requests; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
