Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Cook County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
