Painter — Sitka City and Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a painter in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage On a typical shift you will fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
