Now hiring: we are hiring a construction labourer in Staffordshire, England. The job is on a high-rise construction site. The role involves stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
