Vacancy available: groundskeeper (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Franklin County, Illinois. The job is in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Full-time, day shift. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
