Blocklayer — Roni

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Roni, Jigawa State. The role involves building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 5+ years on the tools preferred.
