Crane rigger — Mid Ulster

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will be based on a high-rise building site. The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; read lift plans and method statements before starting; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
