Immediate opening: plant operator (Florida)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Saint Lucie County, Florida. You will work at a road and highway construction project. You will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Rotating shifts.
