Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Whitley County, Indiana. You will be based in a busy paint shop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth The role involves check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper.
