MIG welder — Hayes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Hayes County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
