Immediate opening: mobile crane operator (Adamawa State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Mubi South, Adamawa State. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. On a typical shift you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
